Our Miserable Future: Life, the Universe and Nothing

During this lecture I will discuss how our revolutionary discoveries in cosmology over the past decade have completely changed our picture of the future of life, of information processing, of galaxies and large scale structure, of cosmology and perhaps even of science itself. While generally miserable, the news is not all bad.
